I'm getting super excited for Halloween!! And it's not just because we need to try to top our costumes from last year. (PS This post was from back when I didn't tell anyone about my blog and it was just my little secret. We had some good secret times back then, bloggy).
Here are some photos from last year, if you're not feeling the whole clicking the link thing.
Just in case you're a bit flighty today--we were a lifeguard, a shark and a shark attack victim. The best costumes come together at the last minute. We made these about 15 minutes before these photos were taken. I used a cut up disposable diaper to make my arm look half eaten. Those things come in handy for more than just catching poop, I tell you.
Speaking of Halloween, my sweet affiliate friends over at Paper Coterie have some pretty great Halloween stuff--tags, cards, posters. I'm getting these little tags to put on small bags of candy for our neighbors' kids.
So, this image quality is terrible, but you get the idea. I'm putting a little poem on the back called "Spooks" |
Get pretty excited because tomorrow (or Friday) you're going to see some adorable little things I picked up while thrifting (do you see how good of a blogger I am? Thrifting?!) I'm trying guys, I'm really trying.
Seriously the best team costume ever. I love it! I'm horrible at thrifting. I never find anything good.
ReplyDeletewow, those costumes are actually amazing. I'm pumped to see what you guys come up with for this year!
ReplyDeleteAhaha brilliant
ReplyDeleteOh this is the cutest stinking thing of my life!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow did you start suspecting he had a sesame allergy? Ben is allergic to dairy, which we're hoping he grows out of, but now I'm all overly concerned that he will end up allergic to everything. God forbid he's allergic to peanuts...
I love these costumes! What a clever idea, and it ties in the whole family! I am excited for Halloween, too!

What a great costume. I have no idea how you made that diaper look like a savagely torn up arm, but good work. What a sweet little shark. Hope your week is filled with joy, Amy! I'm now following you from the GFC hop.
