Too much + Aspartame + Awesome Song

Sometimes do you have so much to do that you can't even do anything except stare at the computer screen and pray to God that things cross themselves off the to-do list? That's how I feel right now.

Oh, and do you ever want to blog about something because it is hilarious, but then you remember people you know in real life would read it and that it could potentially be super embarrassing? And you almost do it anyway, but then you realize you really just shouldn't and that you actually need to have a filter once in a while? Gah, I want to tell you.

Also, I might be being overly dramatic because I'm on a diet. I tend to get that way while dieting. Do you? Like everything is the end. of. the. world?? Because it pretty much is when you're living on fat free whipped cream and diet soda (you want a piece of that diet, don't you?) I think I might be suffering from an aspartame overdose. Which, if you understand my loathing of artificial sweeteners, is a huge deal. Yeah, I drank actual diet soda, not the fancy Stevia (Zevia) kind I get used to get at Whole Foods (It's like 9 bucks for a 6 pack. what does it think it is, zero calorie beer?)

Well that is enough of my artificial sweetener induced randomness. Back to real posts next week with perhaps an actual point to them.

I'll hopefully also be better at not polluting my body with chemicals. We shall see.

And now for a super awesome random 90s song. I think I shall give you one of these per week.

  1. I completely feel ya on the to-do list thing! I've been sooo bad lately about getting things done, it's like the more I have to do, the more overwhelming it seems. And then browsing blogs just sounds so much better than doing the other things, and that usually wins out.

    Hope you're having a great weekend! :)

  2. Yep, dieting? Crankipants.

I can't stand aspartame! I just don't do soda, or on the rare chance, I go all in. Otherwise, it just feels funny in my mouth.

Embarrassing? Oh, like blogging about KY? Wouldn't know anything about that (don't go look for it, pretty sure I moved it!)
